Use the Tool

Welcome to Beyond Compliance: Accessibility Self-Assessment Tool for Organizations. This tool is designed to be used by private, public and not-for-profit organizations of all sizes across Ontario who want to create a more accessible organization.

It is not meant to measure an organization’s compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (or AODA) but rather to provide an organized means of establishing a baseline of accessibility, identifying new initiatives and tracking organizational change over time.

It can assist your organization in knowing what you can do beyond compliance to create a more accessible organization.

Use of the tool is free, voluntary and confidential. See the guidebook for complete details and instructions. To begin, Register or Login below. If you want to check it out first, take a tour of the tool here.

Beyond Compliance: Accessibility Self-Assessment Tool for Organizations was developed by The Regional Municipality of York in partnership with the Government of Ontario under the EnAbling Change Program.
